Palladin's Oath

They've come for her - again. That sword was her final act. 

You made an oath: They won't destroy it. 

Summary:

Defend the sword against waves of invisible, incorporeal enemies. Shift between worlds to charge your attacks and observe your enemy. Remember, the underworld is poison. Don't stay too long. 

Survive for 2:30 and defeat all enemies to win. You lose if the enemies reach the sword too many times, or you become fully corrupted. 

(Enemies will not harm you, only the sword)

Controls:

Enter to toggle fullscreen, escape to pause.

left click to attack, hold right click to slide and aim.

A successful hit significantly reduces recharge time. Chain attacks to survive.

Press space to shift worlds.

In the underworld, Your attack charges a radius and enemies are visible. The longer you stay here, the more corrupted you become. Shift back to lose corruption.

A game made in ~8 days for the 2024 Acerola game Jam.
